My grandmother and I had a very nice time staying at this Airbnb around Christmas while visiting family. It was a great place to relax after long days celebrating the holidays. We liked the small Christmas tree that had in the kitchen and the cozy fire place.

This is a great location for visiting the town with a lovely view. Coffee bar and kitchen make it feel homey. We were visiting family, we cooked some and went out some. Easy access to restaurants and Old Town Issaquah.

Living in Seattle center can be utter chaos 90% of the time.. so to be able to come out to their place was a breath of fresh air! Pun intended. :) the place is absolutely fantastic and just enough privacy for a quick getaway.

Both of these properties are wonderful…we had family in both the house and the getaway space. It was perfect to be together but have some privacy as well! Both were clean and comfortable, with amazing outdoor spaces and beautiful views!

The Getaway is located just 1 mile South of Issaquah’s city center and less than 2 miles from I-90, Seattle’s east / west artery running from the mountains to the sea. Typical drive time from Sea Tac airport is 25-40 minutes (traffic dependent) and an Uber/Lyft will run you $40-$60 each way (surge price dependent) Hiking, biking and activities are totally doable without a car especially in the summer months. The closest bus stop is appx 0.8 miles away and there is a transit center 2.5 miles away. For hiking outside of Squak and Tiger Mtns, there are literally hundreds of hikable trails within a 40 minute drive of the Getaway. Closest skiing is 40 min away (Snoqualmie Pass) with Crystal and Stevens running 2-2.5 hours away depending on traffic/weather.
